Sky Ranch Elementary Parent/Guardian Compact 

2024-2025

PLEASE READ, SIGN, AND RETURN TO THE CLASSROOM TEACHER. 

The staff of the Title I program of Sky Ranch Elementary: 

  1. We will strive to provide a high-quality curriculum and instruction. 

  1. We will strive to have a supportive and effective learning environment. 

  1. We will strive to help the children to meet the Oklahoma Academic Standards (OAS) in reading and math by coming to class prepared to teach, believing that all children can learn, seeking ways to involve parents in the school program. 

  1. We will hold parent conferences upon request and during district stated times. 

  1. We will provide parents opportunities to participate in their child’s class by volunteering, through meetings and workshops, and by request. 

Parent Responsibilities: 

  1. Parents will strive to monitor the child’s attendance and see that the child is on time. 

  1. Parents will strive to make sure homework is completed. 

  1. Parents will strive to monitor their child’s screen time. 

  1. Parents will communicate regularly with their child’s teacher. 

  1. Parents will encourage their child to read at home. 

Student Responsibilities: 

  1. Students will always try to do their best work and be on their best behavior. 

  1. Students will work cooperatively with their classmates. 

  1. Students will show respect to themselves, school, and to other people. 

  1. Students will obey all school rules. 

  1. Students will take pride in their school. 

  1. Students will come to class prepared with their homework and their supplies. 

  1. Students will believe that they can learn and will learn. 

  1. Students will give parents all information and notices from the school.
